MAKING FUTURES International Conference - Tabatha Andrews presents The Dispensary

'Making Futures' is a research platform exploring contemporary craft and maker movements as ‘change agents’ in 21st century society. Set in the glorious location of Mount Edgecombe in Plymouth, this conference includes presentations and performances by Kanghyo Lee, Glenn Adamson, Katie Schwab, industry craftsman Anthony Tovey, Sarah Mann and Bastian Lange, Founder of Multiplicities-Berlin amongst many others. RBS member Tabatha Andrews will present the paper 'Crafting Language: Dementia, Community and Play' which explores the relationships between well-making, craft, personal agency and memory in relation to 'The Dispensary', her RBS First@108 Public Art piece currently residing at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital dementia wards.
