Stone's works materialise in many forms from objects and installations to site-specific interventions. Such works ultimately break down conventions of representation, offering new and explorative directions.

Elected FRBS in 2017, Richard Stone is a London based artist who received an MA from Central Saint Martins. He is represented by galleries in the UK and Austria and his works can be found in collections in the UK, Europe and the United States.

He is currently included in the museum exhibition Nature Morte: Contemporary Artist Reinvigorate the Still-Life Tradition curated by Michael Petry FRBS, based on the Thames & Hudson book of the same name. Having already toured to Norway, 2015, Sweden, 2016 and Poland, February - May 2017, it returns to the Guildhall London, September 2017 - January 2018.
