Julian is an experienced artist who had his first exhibition in 1986.

Following a Foundation Year, Julian studied Sculpture Restoration for three years at Roger de Grey’s (P.P.R.A.), The City and Guilds of London Art School. His abstract work is usually composed of curves, points and pierced areas combined to represent the human figure but including elements derived from various natural and manufactured forms. He explores how elements of the human figure can effectively be communicated with a minimum of form and line. He usually works in wood but casts some pieces into bronze.
He has sold work through a range of galleries across the U.K. and his work has been included in the C20th Art & Design Fair, 20/21 British Art Fair, Affordable Art Fairs, Olympia Shows and the R.W.A. Works have also been sold at auction.
Alongside sculpture, Julian creates nude and abstract Indian ink drawings. His work can be seen on his website
