Crowther hand-carves great trunks of unseasoned English oak embracing the natural characteristics of the oak and, guided by the grain and annual rings, her carving forms winding, organic structures.

Crowther has exhibited her work widely since 1992 and has received a number of substantial commissions including the Rothschild Foundation at Waddesdon and the Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard, London.
