Aisling Hedgecock makes drawing and sculpture that collapse the boundaries between each discipline. Within her work there is a reverence for the primacy of the mediums, paired with an anarchic or absurd use of material and process employed.

Born 1979, Donegal, Ireland. Hedgecock studied at The Royal College of Art, London before being awarded the Sainsbury Drawing and Sculpture Scholarship, The British School at Rome, Italy. Recent projects include solo presentations in The Netherlands and Oslo, Norway, and residencies at The Royal West of England Academy of Art, and the International Alexander Technique Congress, University of Limerick, Ireland. Her works is held in major collections in Europe.
