For the final talk in the Conception Execution Reception Public Art Behind the Scenes series, Turner Prize winning sculptor, Richard Deacon RA and Isabel Vasseur, pioneer of the Public Art movement of 1980s, will reveal how Nose to Nose, Beginning to End was commissioned and created. An enormous steel sculpture, this work was originally placed on a 40ft plinth for the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988.
The RBS would like to acknowledge the FIRST@108 Public Art Award for its generous support and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for its contribution to the catalogue.
