Figurative and portrait sculpture that shows life and natural movement together with spirit and personality, working in clay to cast in bronze or, more recently, working in steel to create laser cut-outs for installations.
Studied design at Wolverhampton College of Art and worked in Fine Art, illustration and design. The sculptural form, especially the human body, always at the forefront of her art. Since 2000 has concentrated on her career as a sculptor. Chosen as an official artist by BT leading up to and including 2012 Olympics. Portrait of Paralympic basketball player Ade Adepitan in Jubilee Square, Woking. 1.8m Female Sprinter in Hong Kong.Since 2000 has completed 15 Public Commissions and 46 Private Commissions together with a number of limited edition pieces. 2016 Commission, Installation of 72 laser cut-outs in stainless steel on either side of 43 metre fence in central Guildford depicting every day people of the town.
Christine works from her studio near Godalming, Surrey and she is also an elected member of the UK Society of Women Artists.
