My practice focuses on identity, origins and destiny, mainly on the female ones using a symbolistic vocabulary of basic forms.

My work as an artist is an observation, a reflection, an an analysis of the notion of identity, of my female identity and of my destiny as a woman. But it is also an observation at the macrocosm which is the female side of the world.
Where do we come from? What influences are there from our background, both social and cultural, from our education and environnement on our personality as a woman?  Both personal experience and the language of nature help me discover that which lies within me, but also to find out what is acquired in the formation of our identity.
I explore the definition of time from a feminine point of view. It is one profoundly different from the masculine, yet the Western calender is built on this purely masculine conception. How can a woman adapt or react to a passage of time which is more cultural than natural?
The female part of our world is never entirely woman. All of us posses feminine and masculine characteristics existing side by side, somtimes in harmony, sometimes not, sometimes accepted, sometimes ignored. Such évidence qhen it is recognized is the key to social tolérance and inner balance to everybody.
Stimulating awareness, interrogating nature, inventing new ways of thought, such is my object.
